Harbour Master: Capt. Paul Webster
Location: Latitude: 37° 4′ South. Longitude: 149° 55′ East.
Pilotage: Compulsory for all commercial vessels over 30 metres LOA. Boarding ground 1.5 miles east of Lookout Point Light.
Approaches: Entrance depth into Twofold Bay is 36 metres. Bottom sand. MHWS 1.6m. MLWS 0.3m. VHF Channels 16, port working channel 8.
Woodchip Loading Berth: Located at Jews Head consists of a T head jetty with centre loading point and five dolphins. Vessels run lines to a four buoy mooring pattern and must shift under the fixed loading arm. Berth can accommodate vessels to 230m LOA and 11.3m draft. Loading is continuous at 1,000 mt per hour.
Multi Purpose Wharf: Located at East Boyd Bay. Wharf 200m long, 30m wide, access jetty 560m long 7m wide. Depth alongside 12m. Dredged swinging basin 11m. Vessels can load to max draft 10.5m.
Breakwater Wharf: Situated on Eastern Side of Snug Cove inside breakwater. Rubber fended concrete wharf 105m long. Depth inner end 3m, outer end 8.8m. Vessels limited by draft.
Multi-purpose Jetty: Situated in the centre of Snug Cove is a concrete decked wooden fended jetty 200m long. Depth inner end 2m, outer end 7m. Used by fishing fleet.
Mooring Jetty: Situated on Western side of Snug Cove is a concrete decked wooden fended jetty 150m long used only by fishing fleet.
Tugs: 1 x 50 ton azimuth and 1 x 41 ton conventional.
Stevedores: By arrangements
Water: Freshwater available at the Multi Purpose Wharf, the Breakwater Wharf and all Snug Cove jetties.
Fuel: Diesel fuel available.
Repairs: Slipway and repair facilities for fishing fleet. 150 Ton slipway.
Airport: Merimbula airport 22km. Daily flights to Sydney and Melbourne.
Access: To Snug Cove berths by road only.
Customs: Proclaimed first port of entry. Documents as for Port Kembla.
